How To Trade

STEP 1. OPEN ACCOUNT

Opening an account with Redwood Options is easy and free of charge.

Open a free trading account by filling in your details on our ‘Open Account’ page. After opening your account, an e-mail confirmation will be sent to you welcoming you to our platform.

STEP 2. DEPOSIT FUNDS

The next step is depositing funds into your account. You can invest into your Redwood Options account with any major credit / debit card or via wire transfer. The currencies available are USD, EUR, GBP, AUD or CAD, GBP, JPY, and RUB.

STEP 3. START TRADING

1. Choose an asset: You can choose from a variety of assets by clicking on the asset dropdown menu.

2. Traders’ choice: Traders’ choice bar indicates what directions other traders are taking on each asset.

3. Choose destination: If you believe that an asset will expire above the current price, choose ‘CALL’. If you believe an asset will expire below the current price, choose ‘PUT’. 

4. Choose an expiry time: Choose an expiry that suits your market expectations. Live graph Live graph shows current price dynamics. Use it in you decision making process.

5. Enter your investment: Enter your investment, make sure that all details are correct and click ‘Apply’.

STEP 3. WAIT FOR EXPIRY

You can follow your position all the way to expiry with the help of the graph at Today’s Open Positions that opens at the right side of the page.

You will know at every moment whether you are on or off target. After expiry, check for results in My Portfolio by accessing ‘My Account’ at the top right corner of the page to find out if your position was in-the-money or out-of-the-money.
