The Forex Feature is a new addition to Redwood Options that allows you to make forex-type investments through our binary options platform. When trading forex on Redwood Options, you first will select a Stop Loss, Take Profit, direction and position. The option will expire when it reaches one of your limits or at the end of the day. Trading forex on a binary options platform is particularly advantageous because you do not need to worry about market movement outside of the expiry time on your trades.

The Follow Feature is a specially designed tool that enables you to “follow” other traders and mimic their trades on your personal account. You can select the user you want to follow, the period of time you want to follow them for, an investment amount and a max investment limit. Then, the Follow Feature will re-create the followed user’s trades for you.

Ladders Options allow you to make multiple investments on a single asset and benefit from market volatility. Various pre-defined strike points will be displayed in increasing amount on a single asset, and you can make Call/Put predictions on each. Essentially, you have the opportunity to gain from the continued movement of an asset as it “climbs” the ladder, instead of only gaining when the price of an asset moves above or below a singular point.

The potential payout when trading with ladder options has a broad range. If you make a “safe” investment that is already deep in the money, you can generally expect returns of a few percent. However, with out of the money investments you have the opportunity to gain potential returns of up to 1500%!

The Refer a Friend program is a rewards program created specifically to thank loyal users who share the Redwood Options platform with their friends. You can easily invite your friends to begin trading by sending them a personalized link, an email or a Facebook post.

Once the referred friend makes a $200 deposit, both you AND your friend receive a bonus $50 cash deposited directly into your accounts.

There is no limit on the amount of friends you can refer, and referred friends are also invited to refer others for additional bonuses.

“Call” represents the “up” direction that a price may take. If you believe that the price of the asset will rise by the expiry, then “call” is the button to click.

Put represents the “down” direction that a price may take. If you believe that the price of the asset will fall by the expiry time, then “put” is the button to click.

Once you have deposited funds, you can make a trade by clicking on “call” if you believe that the price of the chosen asset will rise by expiry or by clicking on “put” if you believe that the asset price will fall by the expiry time. You will then be asked the amount you wish to invest, and after that you will be prompted to approve the trade. The selection may be canceled by clicking on "X" at any time before the approval of the trade. Please note that the rate keeps updating in the investment box.

A successful investment will yield a return in accordance to the percentage displayed for the particular offer you wish to trade. Each option displays its own payout percentage, and Redwood Options usually offers between 70% - 85% for traditional binary options. But you can trade One Touch options for payouts as high as 550%!

In the event that the option expires out-of-the-money, your account will be credited automatically with a proportion of your original investment. The proportion you will be credited varies depending on the option you have taken. Usually, you will receive from 0-10% of the value of your original trade. Let's say you trade a Nasdaq Call option with a value to $500, and at the time of expiry your trade closes "out-of-the-money". In this case, you would receive a credit on your trade of $0-$50 depending on the option you bought.

Rates are the quoted prices of the underlying assets. The rate is the price offered by Redwood Options, based on live feeds from Reuters. Please note that rates offered by Redwood Options are not always reflective of exact market prices – they can vary by a few pips. The rates we present in the trading boxes on our home page are those at which Redwood Options is willing to sell the options.

The expiry rate is the price of the underlying asset at the time of expiry according to feed providers such as Reuters. This is the determining factor for identifying whether the option has expired in-the-money or out-of-the-money.

The expiration time is the time and date at which an option expires.

Like the market, rates at Redwood Options are dynamic and change every second. Market fluctuations affect our automatic pricing engine, which displays rates in real-time. However, here at Redwood Options, rate capturing is as good as technology allows. Additionally, you have the option to cancel your trade if you did not receive the exact rate you desired. For your convenience, Redwood Options makes rate analysis as easy as possible by showing a blinking movement every time the price fluctuates and by the color indicator, which turns the price green upon upward movement or red upon downward movement.
